Get a move on!
Owen is very close to crawling! He gets up on his knees and rocks but then usually face plants into the carpet. He is also pulling himself up on furniture and anything he can grab basically as he loves to stand. He’ll be moving soon and when he does, he’ll probably be a happier, more independent baby who doesn’t have to rely on Mommy and Daddy to pick him up and take him where he wants to go! Teeth count: 4 on top, 2 on botttom.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
Well, Owen got his first set of two a couple of months ago, but now he’s got two more coming in on top. Not the middle two, the ones just outside of that. We hope it won’t look like fangs… but we can’t tell him which teeth to grow! Bridget has asked Santa officially for [...]
Bridget’s surgery update
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family! Bridget survived a successful surgery yesterday and is running around as if nothing had happened today. She is a trooper! We’ll keep her calm and quiet (yeah, right) as we can for the next week and then she should be almost as good as new. If we can keep [...]

Christy’s random communication Question of the Day
An e-mail came in to our Webmaster account today and was forwarded to me… the man wanted to know why we call it a “Traditional” calendar… (site he was looking at is http://www.mesa.k12.co.us/2003/Schools/Calendars/ ) and took issue with the use of the word traditional. Seriously! Offered no alternatives but instead asked,
“May I have your definition of [...]
Owen’s first teeth
Well tooth #1 made it’s appearance on Wed. Oct. 22 and it’s next door neighbor is about to break skin any minute as well. They are the bottom front two. I’ll take a picture as soon as I have two free hands (when is that?). The funniest part is that he likes to stick out [...]
Vote yes on 3A & 3B
I know we don’t have a lot of folks checking up on our family who actually live in Mesa County… but I feel it’s my moral obligation to support these two ballot measures in any way I possibly can! Our school district 51 needs every vote it can get… this bond will help make space [...]
Medical update on Bridget
We were in Denver on Monday, 9/15 at Children’s Hospital having one more round of tests run on Bridget for her urologist and then we saw him at his office Monday afternoon. The long and short of it is that he’s not happy we haven’t done anything in the past year, her right kidney doesn’t [...]
Owen looking for solid ground
He’s a little roller! Owen loves to be on his belly more than anything else right now and holds his head up forever at a time. He’s also starting to babble “mamamamama” and have more of a voice instead of squeals or screams (he found his voice last weekend 9/13 in Denver). And, he had [...]
