Off to the Fair

We went to the Mesa County Fair on Wednesday night. Bridget had been talking about it the week before, but we refrained from telling her we were actually going until just before we left. You never know when you might have to cancel sometimes! It rained a bit on our drive out there, but once she saw the lights of the rides she said “I’m so happy we’re here.” TOTALLY WORTH IT! She loved the animals, she rode a pony, and the best part was Wednesday night was the fireworks. She loves fireworks! Christy had a PIO course to attend last week in Steamboat Springs.  It was the first trip we’ve taken in a long time where we didn’t visit family and thus the first hotel stay for Bridget, and Owen.  She really liked sleeping in a bed with Daddy, having a hotel room she could run around, and eating bagels for breakfast every morning!  We put pictures from our trip in the Gallery July folder as well as some other July shots.  It was a fun trip and KUDOS to Daddy for watching the kids all day by himself, and even getting them to nap in the same room at the same time!
