Putting my money where my mouth is…

This week we had Photovoltaic solar panels installed on our house. The panels, inverter, and wiring are all in place, and we’re just waiting on the electrician and inspector to tie everything in. The system we installed will generate 4.2 Kilowatts. It probably won’t cover our entire usage, but it will handle the bulk of it, especially when it’s cool enough to leave the AC off.

I’ve finally got all the pictures up of the solar panels, plus a short clip of our meter spinning backwards!  Check it out, you know you’re jealous.
